Your ezine name may be your business or domain name followed by the word ‘ezine’ or you may want to use a name that is more descriptive of its purpose. Note that my title includes two power words and conveys a clear benefit for my market.

Make your ezine marketing more powerful when you give your ezine a cover that looks like a real magazine. A professional magazine design that communicates your brand will help you to achieve recognition as an expert. Even though you are offering it at no charge, add a dollar value to the cover to create the impression that it is a valuable source of information. You may wish to add a bulleted list of benefits to your cover and make some reference to your ideal customer.

Sending Your Ezine Email Marketing Messages in HTML or Plain Text - Does it Make A Difference?

Whether you are sending out an ezine, a special promotion or just a quick message to your subscriber list, you can send your email as plain text or html that looks like your web design. In the past, not all ISPs supported html email and text was the only option. Fortunately that is no longer the case. Email prepared and sent as html with the look and feel of your website, blog and brand makes a professional statement about you. It is also more likely to get the attention of your market than plain text email. Formatting your email with headlines, sub-headlines and bulleted lists makes it more interesting to look at and easier to read.

How many ads and promotions have you received through snail mail where your name and other contact information is plastered all over them? Your email software should allow you to insert a name field wherever you want it to appear in your message. Using the correct token provided by your email marketing software, the name field is automatically merged with your list when your broadcast message is set up.
